ArtStart Creative Writing Camp: Worlds of Wonder

As a former high school teacher, Karlyn has experience working with learners of all ages from preschoolers, school-age, teenagers, and adults.
Karlyn is a certified teacher and has taught at the Loft Literary Center for over ten years and has been a part of the Young Author’s Conference for the past four years. She loves visiting schools, libraries, and youth organizations to share writing activities of all kinds.
She also has experience developing curriculum and teacher’s guides that align with state standards as both an educator and working in publishing.
Karlyn Coleman was a long-time favorite at Wild Rumpus Books, where she presented PJ Storytime with the help of the animals at the shop.
Mrs. Coleman has taught kids of all ages in various settings from high school English class to youth classes at the Loft Literary Center.
Karlyn Coleman has presented workshops and classes to adult learners in creative writing at the Loft Literary Center, the St. Paul JCC, and St. Cloud State University.
